Beam current is read from their foil using a keithley electrometer that is patched into EPICS via the chart recorder output, coupled to a voltage to frequency converter that goes into an epics scaler. To summarise ILT:SCALER.S14 reads ~31,000 for zero current falling linearly to 0 for full scale (currently set to 100nA)
