Ops should be aware that for the set-up period, TIGRESS is collecting counts at the very back-end of the beam dump, so all devices in the beam dump (SEBT3A:CEM6, SID6, and FC6) shluld be out unless in specific use by Ops.
Also be aware that SEBT3A:SID6 is the low-intensity diagnostic to use for a beam dump snapshot, and can be read out as 8PI:SCLR:VAR1 (beam dump scintillator). Note that ALL 8Pi scalers are integrated over 100s, so that the S3A:SID6 snapshot should be taken after waiting two time cycles (ie. 200s). Other devices for snapshot are downstairs channeltron 19, MEBT:SID9, SEBT:SID20, and SEBT3A:SID4.
The scaler to monitor for RIB delivery is 8PI:SCLR:VAR14.
