If the TUDA ground switch is open, the TUDA setup can be charged and float up to a high voltage. If this happens, an individual who touches the setup can be electrocuted. Tus it is imperative that the TUDA ground switch be locked closed at all times except under controlled conditions.

The key for the padlock to lock the ground switch closed is kept by Operations. It is only realeased to individuals who wish to measure the degree of isolation of the TUDA racks. The individually must be totally familiar with the procedure continued in the above URL.
