Changes to the Trip Algorithm for BL2A Overcurrent

By Juan Pon, Controls Software, May 2, 2007

The trip algorithm for BL2A overcurrent has been changed to only trip after 2 secs of continuous current above the trip limit. This has been implemented in the IL2A scan.

The old, obsolete interlock for BL2A overcurrent (in ILHICUR scan) has been disabled and item "EX 2A" in xscan -> "Faraday Cup Summary" shows in yellow (ie. disabled). You can safely ignore that for the time being. The actual overcurrent protection for BL2A is now coming from IL2A scan, and not ILHICUR.

The diagnostic process BL2A_SpikeLog runs CCSCS2 and logs BL2A overcurrent spikes in the data file CCSCS2:bl2a_spikelog.dat.
